To recap the materials and tools you’ll need:

  • scissors and/or razor blade
  • ruler
  • bone folder
  • paper/bookbinding awl
  • glue stick (optional)
  • needle (small blunt tapestry needle works best)
  • recycled paper for collage or other art materials (paint, markers, colored pencil etc)
  • cover paper at least 17×13 inches (brown paper bag works great)
  • paper for pages at least 8.5 x 5.5 inches
  • perle cotton thread size 5 or 8
