Welcome to the Cactus Garden Embroidery Sampler Class! This first lesson will get you set up with the materials & tools you need to get started on your project.

Fabric Panel at Spoonflower. I recommend Petal Signature Cotton or Organic Cotton Sateen.

Size 8 perle cotton threads. I love these Eleganza threads by Wonderfil for Sue Spargo. I used color EZ30 After Dinner Mint for my cactus thorns.

You can get fusible fleece from Heat & Bond or Pellon. You just need about a fat quarter. You can fuse that to the back of your fabric before class, following the package directions.
